We hope the following information will help you become more familiar with our organization and answer any questions you may have regarding hockey or how you can get started. Our organization serves youth (boys and girls) in the Brookfield, Elm Grove, Menomonee Falls, Sussex, and Wauwatosa area school districts. For detailed information on our program, please visit our Eagles Programs Overview Page.

The registration deadline is July 31st. Registration fees are due upon registration and must be received for players to participate in evaluations in September.

** New members may still register online after July 31st; however, you are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible so EYHA can identify sufficient ice needs.

2020-2021 Teams are formed based on the following birth years:

  • U14 Bantam: 2006/2007 birth years
  • U14 Bantam Girls: 2006/2007 birth years
  • U12 Pee Wee: 2008/2009 birth years
  • U12 Pee Wee Girls: 2008/2009 birth years
  • U10 Squirt: 2010/2011 birth years
  • U10 Squirt Girls: 2010/2011 birth years
  • U8 Mite: 2012/2013 birth years (Skaters should have completed at least 1 year of in-house prior to participating at this level)
  • U8 In-House: 2014 and younger birth years (Skaters should have successfully completed Learn to Play prior to participating at this level)
  • Learn-to-Play: For kids age 4-12 with limited skating ability

U8 Mite teams will primarily consist of players with the 2012/2013 birth years. U8 In-House will primarily consist of players with 2014 and younger birth years.  U8 Mite and U8 In-House will generally practice on separate days. U8 Mite teams will compete in games against other programs on weekends consistent with USA Hockey’s Red, White, and Blue model. The U8 In-House teams will play "In House" and typically not travel or play against other programs.

Skaters whose skills are not yet at their respective age group level (i.e., U10 Squirt and U8 Mite age groups) may participate as U8 In-House or Learn-to-Play to develop the fundamental skills of skating. This is common for kids in this age group that have not skated much or are just learning. It is preferred that incoming skaters successfully complete or be in the process of completing a Learn to Play Program (Hockey 3/4) at one of the area hockey associations (Ponds of Brookfield, Pettit National Ice Center, Eble, NagaWaukee, Mullet Ice Center) prior to the start of the U8 In-House season.

**U16/U18 registration and tryouts will be announced in late July.
