LEARN TO PLAY & LEARN TO SKATE
Learn To Play (LTP) is combined with our EYHA Learn to Skate and both are designed for both boys and girls who have not yet played organized hockey. Kids will learn skating and hockey fundamentals in a fun, casual environment without a significant time or financial commitment.
Practices will be held once a week.
Players will be grouped by their skating and hockey abilities and may be moved to different groups as their skills develop throughout the sessions.
Skaters in the Learn to Play Program that are 8U or older may be considered for placement on an 8U or older team after the completion of the Fall or Winter learn to play session(s) at the discretion, and with the approval, of the Hockey Director and VP on-ice. Skaters who complete a Spring or Summer Learn to Play session and can register for the following year's full season fall program.
Rental equipment is available through a third-party to minimize start-up costs to families.
AGES
This program is typically for ages 4-8, older than 8 are welcome. Families residing in the communities of Brookfield, Elm Grove, Menomonee Falls, Sussex, Wauwatosa, and the City of Milwaukee south of Capitol Drive, north of I-94, and west of 60th St, are welcome to register. EQUIPMENT
All participants in the program dress in full hockey gear. Equipment rental is available for a small fee at Hockey Haven. Rental equipment includes hockey bag, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey gloves, hockey pants, and shin guards.
Loaner Jerseys will be provided to use through a session.
Rental Skates are available at the Ponds of Brookfield.

Cost
The cost for each session is $200 which includes practice jersey rental, and 8 on-ice practices.
