The Elmbrook Youth Hockey Association (EYHA) is committed to developing competitive youth hockey in the Brookfield, Wisconsin area while teaching our skaters the value of winning and losing with grace and dignity. Our aim is to increase our skaters' enjoyment of the game of hockey, advance their skills, and to help develop their character. EYHA offers both a youth (coed) hockey program and a girls hockey program.
EYHA offers the youth of the communities of Brookfield, Elm Grove, Menomonee Falls, Sussex and Wauwatosa an opportunity to learn, promote and compete in the sport of ice hockey. We are a Division 2, Region 5 member of the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association (WAHA).
I hope everyone is excited for what is sure to be a uniquely challenging, but hopefully successful and still wonderfully fun hockey season!
I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself as the Volunteer Safety Director of EYHA, as I was asked by the EYHA board to help in this position this year. I am Mike Cada, and I am a primary care physician in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. I work in an outpatient clinic in Brookfield for a local hospital system. I am the dad of 3 boys in our program (Mite—Vince, Squirt—Dominic, and PeeWee—Zach).
The main part of my role, it seems, will be helping us as an organization and our families to navigate the complicated world of COVID that we are all forced to deal with presently. MORE...
